UNESCO and the National Archives of Uruguay have jointly organized in the city of Montevideo, the 12th Meeting of the Memory of the World Regional Committee for Latin America and the Caribbean - MoWLac- which takes place from the 4th to the 6th of October. The Committee was founded in 2000 in order to support Memory of the World concerns for preservation and access of significant documentary heritage and to create the Regional Register. Full document
